So pleased to have known Harold as Sarah’s father in law. What an impressive career and, especially from my point of view, a loving grandfather to our little Amy. He will be sadly missed by so many people.
Missing you already

Sad, sad, day. We have such fond memories of spending time with Harold and Barbara at the Rock Festival, WOMAD and at their lovely flat by the river at a Caversham. His legacy to music and to Reading will be remembered by many thousands of fans. RIP Old Friend xxx

For Uncle Harold...I'm so sad he has left us. I have such fond memories of Harold, Barbara and Nick visiting us in Southport when we were kids, including a trip for a Rossi's ice cream, which was always on the agenda! Fun memories of the numerous family gatherings over the years, and the great celebrations of Harolds 80th and 90th birthdays. He will be very missed, but remembered forever. xx
